One-on-One with Marc Sawyer

I have a special treat for all of you today!

Thanks to some of my great contacts in San Diego, I was able to get an exclusive one-one interview with...MARC SAWYER!

Yep, an interview with myself...by myself. Combining my incredible interrogative skills and refreshingly witty repartee, I delve into the exhilarating, envy-inducing lifestyle of....me.

The topics shall range from matters of great importance to meaningless minutiae...all about me. What else could you ask for on a Monday?

HEY MARC, HOW'S YOUR GROIN?
Thanks for asking Marc, that's really kind of you. Well, after taking two weeks off from running due to a pull in my nether-region (aka strained groin), I finally got back out on the roads yesterday. Ran an easy 5 miles with almost no pain...until about four hours later. Little sore right now, but I think I'll be okay.

HOW WAS YOUR WEEKEND? DO ANYTHING FUN AND EXCITING?
I had a great weekend, thanks for asking! Friday night I went to the Padres game with Tom, Joel and Julie. Missed out on the BeerFest, but still had a great time since the Padres increased their lead in the UBER-competitive NL West (I kid).

WAIT, YOU MISSED BEERFEST?
I blame myself. I assumed it ran all game, but it only ran 5:00-6:45pm, and we got there at 6:50pm. There were all sorts of breweries represented there, and we missed it!

WOW THAT SUCKS. ANYWAY, BACK TO YOUR WEEKEND...
Saturday I got new tires, read 300 pages in a book (Code to Zero, by Ken Follett), saw my mom and Grandma, had lunch with Heidi at Swami's cafe (awesome guacamole turkey club), chilled with Tom in the hot tub, then dinner at Oggi's for Jeff's birthday.

Sunday I went for a run, then for my Valentines Day gift, I went to Padres game with Miss Julie. Padres won 8-0! Then we went to Old Town, had some STALE chips and STIFF margaritas, then went home and crashed!

SOUNDS LIKE A HECTIC WEEKEND. THANKS FOR DOING THIS INTERVIEW!
Hey no problem, Marc.

GOT ANY EXCITING SUMMER VACATION PLANS?
Marc, it's funny you should ask that. I was just trying to think of what I wanted to do with all my time off. Starting in June, I will have every Monday off for the summer, so I will have a lot of three-day weekends! Other than that, I think I will be making my way to Chicago and San Francisco in August.

I HEAR TOPEKA IS NICE THIS TIME OF YEAR...
Always a kidder, huh Marc? But seriously, if you have any suggestions, I'm up for a vacation!

IF YOU COULD BE ANY PERSON CURRENTLY LIVING, WHO WOULD YOU BE?
Easy. Lebron James.

CARE TO EXPAND ON THAT?
No.

ANYTHING ELSE YOU'D LIKE TO SAY OR SHARE WITH YOUR READERS BEFORE WE WRAP THIS UP?
Keep it real.
